Terms of Service

Last updated September 26, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They include a strict no-refund policy, automatic renewal of Premium, a limitation of our liability, and an agreement to resolve disputes by individual arbitration instead of in court.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MyFullRides (“MyFullRides”, “MFR”, “we”, “us” or “our”) covering your use of the MyFullRides website, its matching engine, its scholarship and leaderboard lists, Premium, and every related feature, page, email and service (together, the “Service”).

By visiting the Service, entering information into it, creating an account, starting a free trial or paying for Premium, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 13, do not use the Service or give us any information.

If you are 13 or older but under the age of majority where you live (18 in most US states), you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service, including any purchase. A parent or guardian who allows a minor to use the Service, or whose payment method is used for Premium, accepts these Terms, including the no-refund policy in Section 8.

You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction, or if we have previously suspended or removed your account.

3. What the Service is, and what it is not

MyFullRides estimates which colleges might cost you little or nothing, based on the academic, financial and personal details you enter and on public information about colleges and their aid programs. It is an information and research tool only.

The Service is not, and does not provide:

  • Financial, tax, investment, legal or admissions advice.
  • An offer, promise or guarantee of admission, aid, scholarships or any price from any college, state, program or government.
  • A college, a scholarship provider, a lender or a financial aid office, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any college, program or ranking publisher we mention, including Niche.
  • A substitute for reading each institution's own published requirements and talking to its admissions and financial aid offices.

Words such as “$0”, “free”, “tuition-free”, “guaranteed match”, “safety”, “target”, “reach”, “odds” and “percent off” describe our estimate of how a published policy applies to the information you entered. They are not guarantees. A “guaranteed match” means the published policy, as we understand it, awards the aid to every admitted student who meets its stated criteria. It does not mean you will be admitted, that the policy has not changed, or that the college will agree with our reading of it.

4. Accuracy, estimates and your own checks

College costs, admission rates, scholarship rules, income limits, residency rules, state programs and federal aid change every year, sometimes without notice, and our information can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Results also depend entirely on the accuracy of what you enter. Costs shown are estimates of published figures and may exclude fees, books, travel, personal expenses and other costs of attendance.

You are solely responsible for verifying every result directly with the relevant institution or program before relying on it, including before applying, paying an application fee or deposit, accepting or declining an offer, choosing a school, or making any financial decision. We have no obligation to correct, update or keep any information current, although we try to.

5. Your account

Some features require an account. You agree to give accurate, current and complete information, to keep it up to date, and to keep your password and sign-in methods confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

One person may hold one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, transferred or used to give other people access to Premium. We may refuse a username or email, and we may limit, suspend or close any account as described in Section 14.

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deletion is permanent and cancels any active subscription so you are not charged again. It does not entitle you to a refund of anything already charged (see Section 8).

6. Free use and its limits

We may offer parts of the Service without charge, with limits such as a number of searches, a number of visible results, or features shown blurred until you sign in or subscribe. We may change, reduce or remove any free feature or limit at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability to you.

7. Premium, free trials and billing

Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features, such as every result, repeated searches with changed stats, the scholarship and leaderboard lists, and other features we describe at the time you subscribe. Premium currently costs $7 per week, billed weekly in advance, plus any applicable taxes. Prices are shown before you pay and may change as described below.

Free trial. New subscribers may receive a free trial of 1 day. To start a trial you must give a valid payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and your payment method is charged the weekly price. Free trials are limited to one per person, household and payment method; we may refuse or end a trial, or charge from the start, if we believe this limit is being avoided.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every week, and you authorize us and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method the then-current price at the start of each billing period until you cancel. If a payment fails, we may retry it, suspend Premium, or cancel your subscription. You remain responsible for any amount that is due.

Cancelling. You may cancel at any time from Account settings or the billing portal linked there. Cancelling stops future renewals. Unless we tell you otherwise, you keep Premium until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it then ends. Cancelling does not produce a refund or credit for the current or any past period.

Price changes. We may change the price of Premium. A new price applies from your next billing period after we give you notice, which may be on the Service or by email. If you do not agree to a new price, cancel before it applies.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number. You agree to keep your billing details current and confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

8. No refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. Any and every request for a refund, credit, reimbursement or partial refund will be denied.

This applies in every case, including without limitation when:

  • You forget to cancel before a free trial ends, or before a subscription renews.
  • You cancel part-way through a billing period, or stop using the Service.
  • You did not use Premium, used it only briefly, or were not satisfied with it.
  • Results, estimates or information were inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, or did not lead to admission, aid, a scholarship or a particular price.
  • A college, program or policy changed, ended, or did not apply to you.
  • Your account is suspended or closed for breaching these Terms, or you delete it.
  • Features are changed, added, reduced or removed, or the Service is unavailable for a period.
  • A charge was made by a minor, or by someone else using your account or payment method.

Opening a chargeback or payment dispute for a charge made under these Terms is a breach of these Terms. We may contest it, suspend or close your account, and recover the disputed amount and any fees it causes us.

The only exception is where a refund is required by a law that cannot be excluded by agreement. In that case we will provide only the minimum refund that law requires.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:

  • Copy, scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically download results, catalog data, lists or any other content, by automated means or otherwise.
  • Resell, republish, license, redistribute or build a competing product or dataset from the Service or its output.
  • Share, sell or lend your account or Premium access, or run searches for other people for payment.
  • Get around limits, paywalls, blurring, rate limits, free-trial limits or other access controls, including by creating multiple accounts.
  • Probe, scan, test or breach the security of the Service, or access any part of it you are not authorized to use, including owner and administrative areas.
  • Interfere with or overload the Service, or introduce malware or harmful code.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the Service's source code, models or data, except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Enter false information to manipulate results or the Service, impersonate anyone, or use the Service to harass, defraud or harm anyone.
  • Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.

10. Information you give us

You keep ownership of the information you enter, such as your grades, scores, activities and notes (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, analyze and use Your Content to operate, provide, secure and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes sending free-text answers to service providers that help us evaluate them.

You confirm that you have the right to give us Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. We may use aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you for any lawful purpose.

If you send us feedback, corrections or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, matching engine, design, text, graphics, logos, the MyFullRides and MFR names, the crest mark, and the selection and arrangement of its data, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial college research, in line with these Terms. All other rights are reserved. Public data we draw on, such as the US Department of Education's College Scorecard, remains subject to its own terms.

12. Third-party sites and services

The Service links to and relies on third parties, including college websites, aid program pages, Niche, Google sign-in, Stripe and others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, policies or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and you use them at your own risk.

13. Changes to the Service

We may change, update, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including features, data sources, limits and Premium benefits, at any time and for any reason. If we permanently discontinue Premium, we will stop future billing. Changes to the Service do not entitle you to a refund.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit or terminate your access to the Service or any account, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure for us or others, disputed a valid charge, or for any other reason permitted by law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. No refund or credit is owed for any termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 8 and 10 through 21, survive.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all results, estimates, content and information are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any result will lead to admission, aid or any particular cost. You use the Service at your own risk.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyFullRides and its owners, operators, employees, contractors and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, tuition, aid, scholarships, admission, opportunities, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, including decisions you make based on the Service, missed deadlines and declined or accepted offers, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us for the Service in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim, or ten US dollars ($10).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, in which case our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MyFullRides and its owners, operators, employees, contractors and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or anyone else's rights.

18. Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver

Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us through the Contact page and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding arbitration. Except for claims that qualify for small-claims court and requests for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitrator may award relief only on an individual basis.

You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to bring or take part in any class, collective, consolidated or representative action. Claims may be brought only in your or our individual capacity.

Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law allows.

19. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section, the state and federal courts located in Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to them.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, for example on the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

21. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them, for example in a sale or reorganization. Headings are for convenience only. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to us through the Contact page.
